All our books are individually inspected and categorised into the following groups: 

Excellent

The book is in pristine condition, with no visible flaws, creases, or marks. It appears almost new.

Dust jacket is included with no visible wear and tear, if applicable.

No missing or damaged pages, no tears, no underlining or highlighting of text, and no writing in the margins.


Very Good

The book is in great condition but may have some minor signs of wear, such as slight creases on the spine or cover.The book cover has minimal signs of wear.

Dust jacket present with minimal wear and tear.

Minimal or no underlining, highlighting or discolouration to pages.


Good

The book is still in readable condition but shows noticeable wear and may have some creases, scuffs, or small tears.

Slightly crooked spine or torn dust jacket.

Slightly loose binding.

Mild browning or foxing.

Slight highlighting or note taking.

May be an ex library book with the usual treatments (see below).


Acceptable

The book is well-worn with significant signs of use, including creases, tears, stains, or markings. It's still readable but may not be in the best aesthetic condition.

Spine may be warped with cracking and scuffing.

Cover may be discoloured, creasing or torn.

Pages may be browned or foxed.

Markings and note taking do not interfere with reading.

May be without end papers or title page.

May have some water damage.

May be an ex library book with the usual treatments (see below).


Ex-Library

Library stamps within the first few pages and on book edges.

May come with a plastic sleeve around the cover.

Possibility of library stickers on the cover or within.
